Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee died at the age of 93 on Thursday. He was put on life support system on Wednesday after his health condition deteriorated.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and several other party leaders reached AIIMS earlier on Thursday. The 93-year-old was admitted to AIIMS due to a kidney tract infection, urinary tract infection, low urine output and chest congestion.
