  1. Chaat from Muzaffarpur

A perfect combination which will make your mouth watery. generally, ingredients are samosa, dahi, fruits, spices, and Gravy of either chana or something else.

Price: Depends upon the place, Normally around 40rs/plate.

2. Balushahi From Runnisaidpur

Balushahi

Cooked with buttermilk and dipped in Chasni (sugar Syrup) is a Perfect Dessert.

Price: 140rs/kg to 250rs/kg

3. Khaja From Silaow

SILAO-KHAJA

This waffery sweet snack is made from flour and sugar, is deep fried and then dipped in hot sugar syrup. Famous from Silaow, located in Nalanda. you can also found this in Patna near Patna Museum.

Price: Around 200rs/kg

4. Malpua

Malpua

Malpua is one sweet all Biharis swear by for every special event and festival. Its batter is made by mixing flour, milk, sugar and mashed bananas and is deep fried in such a way that the edges go all crispy while the centre is all soft

5. Dal Puri

Dal puri is another level of happiness. The Bengal gram stuffing of the puri makes it tastier.

6. Pedukiya/Gujjia From Goplaganj

Bihar’s one of the famous fried sweet, the pedukiya is made by stuffing flour stuffed with suji (semolina), khoya or grated coconut and is specially made during the Teej festival in Bihar. Famous from Gopalganj but every mom can make it.

7. Parwal ki Mithai

It is made by stuffing the pointed gourd with khoya. 

Price: Around 300rs/kg

8. Ghugni

Ghugni, Bengal gram is used as stuffing and taste is just wow, a Complete package for a Spicy evening snack. It is cooked at home but you can find on roadside stalls as well as dhaba’s.

Price: Around 30rs/plate

9. Handi Chicken/Mutton from Champaran

Handi chicken is prepared in earthenware pots. It is generally famous from Champaran( Motihari) but for now, lots of restaurants serve this in many cities.

Price: Around 700rs/kg

10. Sattu Paratha

It is prepared with Gram powder, wheat flour, generally but to enhance its taste some other Ingredients like mango powder, Thymol seeds (Ajwaiyan) etc. It is eaten with green chutney and tisi ki chutney(Flax seed). It can be intaked either as a Snack or in dinner and it is very healthy.

11. Jhal Mudi

Ingredients: Mudhi, Boiled potato, Tomato, Green chilli, red chilli Paste, mustard oil and some More spice according to your Taste and preferences. This dish is very easy to prepare and is very tasty and generally intake as an evening snack.

12. Pittha (Bagiya)

Pittha is very famous in Bihari village mostly and is very delicious. it is made with rice flour and is stuffed with potato, pulse and anything you want. It is boiled after being stuffed. it tastes amazing with chutney.

13. laai/ladoo

Balls shaped made up of ramdana or til and with sweet taste mixed with either sugar or gud(jaggery).
