Team India in strong position after day 2

The second day’s game continues in the third Test between India and Sri Lanka being played in Kandy. India’s first innings collapsed 487 runs In reply, Sri Lanka’s first innings was reduced to 135 runs. Sri Lanka made 19 runs in the second innings losing 01 wickets. Sri Lanka’s team still is 333 runs behind. Karunaratne 12 and Pushpakumara are present on the crease without opening.

Umesh Yadav administered first success

Umesh Yadav bowled Upul Tharanga, playing on 07, gave the Indian team the first breakthrough.

Sri Lanka’s first innings at 135 runs
